Two of Wands Tarot Card Meanings
Here we see a man, perhaps a nobleman, standing on top of a building looking out at the vast landscape before him, whilst also contemplating a globe in his right hand. He holds onto one of the two staffs or wands he stands between with his left hand.
The main idea or message that this card conveys to me is of choice. The man is quite obviously contemplating and trying to come to a decision. I get the impression though that the decision is between two things because he is standing between the two wands. He also appears to be making a comparison between the globe in his hand and the vista before him. Does the option the globe represents seem too small when compared to the greater scene before him?
Whatever the case, I think it is clear that he must make a choice as he cannot stand there contemplating forever. What is it to make a choice? It means we shift our focus to just one thing, rather than have it split in different directions; that kind of focus could achieve a lot.

This card urges you to narrow your focus. You’ve reached a crossroad and it is time to make a decision about which way to go which can no longer be put off. Either direction may be good, but what is it that inspires you? Where do you want to focus your attention and energy? It’s time to decide as you will not be able to do both.
