Queen of Wands Tarot Card Meanings

The image on this court card shows a queen sitting on a golden throne.  In one hand she holds a staff, and in the other a sunflower.  Her throne is adorned with more sunflowers and carvings and images of lions and before her sits a black cat.

Here is another strong queen exuding confidence, but the way she sits in her throne seems to say “Come look upon me and admire my greatness”.  Sunflowers always look to the sun, and by surrounding herself with these, it seems she is as radiant as the sun itself.  But like the felines that are in this image, I think she could be as playful as a kitten or as ferocious as a lion.

She is the Queen of Wands and I feel this shows she has boundless energy and coupled with her charismatic nature she will no doubt not be short of admirers.
