Three of Cups Tarot Card Meanings

The image on this card shows three women raising their cups and dancing in a circle. Around them on the ground lie vegetables, as though they are dancing in a vegetable patch or garden.

This card makes me think of a celebration. The women are very obviously celebrating something, so I feel there is the idea of celebration with friends or family. There is also a broader sense of socializing and community conveyed by the vegetables. There look to be turnips and a pumpkin and this makes me think of autumn and harvest celebrations, in which case a village or community would gather together to celebrate the successfully bringing in of crops.

Once again, the fact that there are cups raised, would show that at the forefront of this celebration is an emotional connection with the people in the circle. A circle also has no beginning and no end; these people are connected at a deep emotional level and will always be there for each other. So, rather than some work or business gathering of celebration, I see a group of loved ones, such as friends and family members, coming together to rejoice.
